மைக்ரோசாப்டின் Notepad டெக்ஸ்ட் எடிட்டர் மென்பொருளிற்கு மாற்றாக அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட மற்றொரு மென்பொருளே Notepad++ ஆகும். முற்றிலும் இலவசமாகக் கிடைக்கக்கூடிய இம்மென்பொருளின் உதவியுடன் உலகிலுள்ள
பல்வேறு மொழிகளை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட டெக்ஸ்களை எடிட் செய்யும் வசதி காணப்படுவதுடன் மேலும் பல வசதிகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. இதுவரையில் ஏறத்தாழ 27 மில்லியன் தரவிறக்கங்கள் செய்யப்பட்ட இம்மென்பொருள் சில புதிய அம்சங்கள் உள்ளடங்கலாகவும் முந்தைய பதிப்பில் காணப்பட்ட தவறுகள் நீக்கப்பட்டும் தற்போது Notepad++ 6.3 எனும் புதிய பதிப்பாக வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
